First Christmas

This would have to go down in history as my favorite Christmas ever. Jesse keeps things exciting - eating paper, tape and boxes. Occasionally glancing at the toys that came in them.




We went sledding on the driveway.


And ate eggs for the first time. He missed mouth a couple times.

Almost Christmas. Almost 9 Months.

It's funny how much changes in a year. Last Christmas, my wish was to make it through my pregnancy. This Christmas, my wish is to sleep through the night. We have had a year I will never forget. A year filled with joy and tears (mostly when I was very pregnant). We didn't make it to AZ (which made us all so sad) but we did make it to a water park...





We met Rudolf, Frosty, and Santa.





Jesse got a few shoulder rides from Daddy.





And we had a great Thanksgiving. Just chilling with Uncle Zach.



We got to have Margarita's with Jillian for her Birthday. Ok, Mom had Margaritas and I had formula. But still - it was fun.



We are really looking forward to Christmas. Mostly so mom can get rid of the tree I like to try to knock over and the presents I like to eat. Sorry Auntie Hedd, but I couldn't stand the suspense. Your present is already open.

Next Year? Mommy's Angel.

But this year for Halloween he was Mommy's monster.

Happy Birthday to Us!

Monday, on our way home from day care I sang 'Happy Birthday to Us'. My 34th year and Jesse's 8th month. He's learned way more in the last month than I have in the last year. lol. He can sit up great, babbles a ton, and can even try to feed himself. What is the best new thing that Jesse has learned you ask? How to gut laugh :)

The Buster

Jesse has such a personality already. We are having a ball getting to know him. And even more fun teaching him about the world around us. Everyone was right. It only gets better.

Half a Year!

Time seems to be going so fast. I look back at the pictures from the start of this blog, and I now fondly remember when Jesse was a black and white ball on the monitor. I am also fondly remembering all of the sleep I got even when 8+ months pregnant.

Jesse now has his first tooth. He eats enormous amounts of baby food. And occasionally sleeps through the night. He rolls, scoots, drools, and chews on everything. And he smiles. Wow, can he smile.

Hog Roast '09

We made the trek to Ohio with our baby and pop up in tow. It was a hot weekend, but we had so much fun relaxing and visiting with family. Thanks to the Ohio Munson's for all of the food, fun & hospitality!

Month 5

Jesse has been keeping us busy. He's giggling and babbling a ton. It is so fun to see him learn & grow. He is light of our days.
