6 Weeks!

Well, Jesse's not sleeping through the night yet, but all in all he's a pretty great baby. He's started smiling more and is even sitting up on his own... (wink, wink) I had a special request for a picture of him crying, which he definitely has a good grasp on already.

We figured since Jesse now has 'rolls' on his thighs we could start experimenting with an eating routine versus 'On Demand'. Getting up every 3 hours versus every two hours makes a big difference in Mommy's happiness & energy level. Jesse doesn't seem to mind a bit, he's my perfectly schedulable baby. He even works around Bob's schedule a lot of the time.

Week #5

We had another great week, and I officially hit one month old this week! Lots of visitors and lots of hanging out with Mom and Dad. Family came from near and far, here are the pics...

Uncle Rik's birthday dinner...

Hanging out on my cool quilt...

Suze came to visit. But I think Willy got a little jealous :)

I went to watch Dad play volleyball and got to hang out with Scotty Mac & Dar and Porter...

And my second cousin Shaun (or first cousin once removed??) came for a visit with Sara, Nancy & Robin. I almost slept through the visit...

Dad likes to feed me. It helps us bond and gives mom a break...

Just hanging in my crib...

My first cookout (Good thing I can't eat hamburgers yet cause Daddy burned them a bit)...

My first fish fry. Uncle Dave & Aunt Patty came all the way from Ohio to visit me...

And my uncle Mike is really cool, you should see the mural he is making me!

Lots of fun people and places to visit. I give my Mom and Dad a challenge once in a while but for the most part I am a pretty laid back baby (as you can see from the pictures). But I have to keep them on their toes, I don't want them to think they have me figured out ;-)

Thanks all for a fun week!

Week #4

I haven't been counting the visitors, but week #4 didn't seem to have any slow down in the number of people coming to visit the little munchkin. He is really 'loved' (they say you can't spoil a newborn ;-))!

The week started with a visit from Gaia - it was great to see her before her trip to Jamaica...

Mom insisted on trying out the swing. Not really my thing yet, but I know one of these days I am going to love to swing!

GG brought Mary Fryman over to visit. She brought me even more Badger gear - I should definitely be ready for next football season!

Mom made us do a photo shoot, not sure why Dad agrees to do this stuff. But I played along...

Thursday was a busy day, it was my first day at work (OK, it wasn't really 'work')...

Amy & Jesse SR came to visit (and brought me some really cute clothes)...

Cheryl and Diane came to visit bringing even more clothes and an adorable blanket!

And Auntie Jen was back to hold me for a while...

And of course Daddy keeps me clean. This bath thing isn't so bad...

Auntie Tilly hung out with us Saturday afternoon. We tooled around Lodi for over an hour!

Auntie Hedd stopped by to hold me for a while...

Some good friends from work came to visit and brought me even more cute clothes! I'll be the best dressed guy in town (sorry Dad, but it's true).

As you can see, I was pretty tired by weeks end. Mom sure loves it when I am cuddly like this.
