First Tub Bath

He isn't smiling, but he's not screaming either. I think Daddy & Jesse are really starting to love bath time.

Week #3

Jesse definitely keeps us busy! We have been having lots of fun, and have even managed a couple short trips to Madison. We have had so many visitors, thank you all for your time & love - we all appreciate it so much!

I just can't get enough of my daddy...

Wow is this a comfy chair that Joe & Sue got me... Sleeping like a baby.

I slept right through my first visit with my second cousin Shaun. But aren't our matching car seats cute??

Aunt Jill came to visit and I had to show her how tough this baby stuff is...

Hanging out with Grandpa on his 55th Birthday!!

I love hanging out with GG...

And Deb and Belle came to visit. Deb and Belle are going to take good care of me when Mom goes back to work.

Tahnee stopped in Lodi for another visit - it was so nice to see her & meet her friend Jada!

Wait, that's not a baby. Jesse's going to have to learn to share early :)

Jen came to Lodi to have coffee with my mommy (or maybe to visit me :))...

Great Uncle Tom & Aunt Shelly came to visit me...

It was Grandpa and GREAT Uncle Tom's Birthday's this week so we celebrated with everyone. Thought the family would get a kick out of the 'Blow out the candles' competition. Blow fish is all that comes to mind...

Grandpa & I watched Tiger Woods pull off another win. Well, I watched part of it and then fell asleep.

Dad gave me my first tub bath and I liked it WAY better than the sponge baths. No screaming which made Mom very happy :)

Lots of firsts this week. First nap in my real crib, first tub bath, and first bottle from Daddy. And lots of other stuff too, especially smiles :) It's been a great 3rd week!

Week #2

Wow, is this little guy loved. I am so in awe of the number of visitors bearing open arms, gifts and food. Even FedEx has been to our house three times this week delivering packages from those that are too far to visit. You have all made our second week even better than the first!

The weather was so nice, we walked up to GG's (that's Great Grandma & Great Grandpa's) for a visit...

Auntie Jen came to visit...

Mommy's little burrito...

Some tummy time with Mom - those are some cool monkey's on the quilt that Heather made me...

Grandpa Don came to visit me...

And my cool cousin Nick (who has the same birthday as me, how cool is that??)...

Nana came to visit & hold me for a while...

And Auntie Hedd, Lily and Charlotte came for a surprise visit...

We took a couple trips out to visit friends. First stop - Kay & Clayton's, to say thank you for the yummy meal that she made us...

Second stop, to visit Julie, Hannah, and Bailey...

Jerm & Nicole came to watch some B-Ball with mommy and daddy, but I think they both really came to hold me :)

Hanging out on my nursery rhyme quilt from Great Grandma Malin...

And I finally got to meet my Great Grandma Barb and Great Grandpa Rich (who were celebrating my birth in Punta Cana ;-) Thanks GG for all of the food - my mom needs to keep her energy up to keep up with me!

Auntie 'M' came to visit on Sunday. We went for a long walk - it was so fun!

And I hung out with mom lots.

This is me disguised as a ferocious gorilla - did I scare anyone?

Thanks everyone, life on the outside is pretty great when I have all of you :)

Introducing Jesse Malin Munson!

As we progressed through this pregnancy, all of our friends with children tried to explain the experience of bringing a child into the world. We now know there simply are not words to explain. Maybe the pictures will give you a glimpse at what we can only describe as the best week of our lives.

Special thanks to Heather, Jen & Marsha for helping Dad take care of Mom through delivery. And thanks a million to Kay who made sure we had a good meal our first night home!

Gaia, your help getting us settled those first few days was priceless. Thank you from all of us.

Slept right through my first visit with Grandpa...

Papi looks pretty proud...

So many friends and family came to the hospital to meet me...

My great grandparents are definitely GREAT and GRAND...

My grandparents seemed pretty happy to meet me too...

I really love my Daddy...

Gaia really took good care of me while my mom got some much needed R & R...

Sue brought me my first Packer outfit, can't wait to catch my first game with Dad...

Tahnee was squeeling with delight when she came to see me...

Thanks to all of our visitors. You made my first week so fun!
