I am so overwhelmed with all of the generosity & love of such a great group of women. Heather threw me a wonderful shower with the help of Jen, Amy & Jillian. Everyone put together a scrap book page, and paging through it brought tears to my eyes. Just add pictures (I think I can handle that :))Some funny parts to the evening...
- Cathie throwing a cupcake at Kathy. Hopefully she'll forget that before the next year's review.
- Carolyn guessing 72" for Cathie's waist. Um, that's almost as tall as Bob. Those epidurals better be as good as everyone says they are!
- Tilly trying to pick up Bump (which includes Cathie at this point). Sorry Till, you'll have to wait like the rest of us.
And now for some more serious comments...
- Gaia. You have made me into who I am today. Your love and support has shown me what it means to be a mother. This little guy is so lucky to have you & Papi in his life.
- Hedd. How could we have known what this friendship would turn into as we were wiping snot from our noses & planting seeds in your mom's back yard at age 5. I wouldn't be complete without you. Thank you for loving me & Bump so much.
Heather always says, "It takes a village..." (to raise a child). You are all my village.
